While earning her Communication Studies B.A. at CSUSB, let's go Yotes! Mayibel was drawn to strategic communication and her passion for Public Relations (PR) was cultivated. Mayibel has worked with social media teams for the student-run organizations on campus Coyote PR and Coyote Radio. While also writing for the student-run newspaper the Coyote Chronicle.

As a self-described nature lover, Mayibel loves to spend her free time recharging in nature, either hiking or camping. When she's not outside, you can find her cooking up a new exotic dish, spending time with her family, or painting!
